I purchased this product for my 8 year old who just finished a season of coach pitch baseball. He is really happy with the machine & has already hit 3 of the 4 included foam balls into our bushes where they may never be found again.

I read reviews on this product that stated that it went through batteries very quickly – we didn’t find this to be true. However, I did try to purchase the power adapter from the manufacturer, only to find that they no longer offer it. Well, to remedy this I went to my local Radio Shack & purchased a 5 VDC power adapter and a blue connector – works great!

I have also searched for replacement foam baseballs for the machine; similar story from the manufacturer, but again, taking the last original ball to Dick’s Sporting Goods allowed me to find matching products that fit. I purchased the Power Bolt 12 pack of practice baseballs & these also work very well. The diameter of the ball is 2-3/4 inches. Getting the right size is important for fitting the baseballs in the machine. We were also able to use Franklin “whiffle” balls, but they didn’t behave as well as the solid foam balls.

I would have given this product a 5 if the manufacturer would have provided support.

We ordered for our nephew’s Christmas present. The quality was excellent and works good. He loved his gift. We also ordered the dimple training balls to go with the power pitcher.

We were looking for something that would help my grandson with eye hand co-ordination for his little league games, were they use a pitching machine.

This definetly is easy to set up & use by a 7year old. Can also point it into the air for catching. Ours came with a BONUS adapter for electrical use, no batteries needed !

We bought this for my 5 year old son who’s been playing baseball since he was 2. He’s been hitting pitches for 2 and a half years now without any trouble and has played 2 seasons in a coach pitch league. We got this for him since he was bored using a T in the backyard and was wearing us out asking us to pitch to him all the time. We loaded it up with batteries and set it up outside for him to play with and he was SO excited. The first 5 pitches took forever to get geared up and actually leave the chute, some flew way over his head, and others just dribbled out. I think after an hour of trying to get it functioning (even moving it so it was shooting downhill, etc.) he had one hittable ball. It was really disappointing that it had no consistency. We returned it and are holding out for a higher quality pitching machine. One thing I can say about it is that it’s not dangerous, so you don’t have to worry about your child getting smacked really hard by a ball. But if you’re looking for something that will keep your little slugger busy, this isn’t it.
